Dr. Mike Pridgeon was born and raised in Tallahassee, Florida. After undergraduate studies at Tallahassee Community College and Florida State University, he graduated and received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine with honors from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 1999. Special interests include internal medicine and cardiology. He is a current member and past president, vice-president, and treasurer of the Big Bend Veterinary Medical Association. He is also a member of the Florida Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association. He served a three-year term as District 1 Representative on the Executive Board of the Florida Veterinary Medical Association as well as a term as Treasurer of the Political Action Committee. Dr. Pridgeon is married and has a daughter. The Pridgeon family shares their home with a Calico cat (“Lily”),Boston Terrier (“Fergie”), and a rescue Maltese (“Allie”). Dr. Pridgeon and his family are members of Deerlake United Methodist Church. In their spare time, the Pridgeon family likes to travel, spend time with friends and family at the beach and on the boat, and support Florida State Athletics (GO NOLES!)

Lizzy has been a Westwood team member since 2017. Lizzy enjoys her interactions with our awesome clients and their four legged family members. In her time away from work, Lizzy enjoys hanging out with her kids and other family members, fishing and being at the beach. Lizzy and her family share their house with their dog "Scooby", "Tober" the cat, and their fish "Earl."

She shares her house with three cats “Eddie”, “Sammy”, and “Hooker”. In her free time Betsy enjoys travel, reading and spending time with friends and family.
Dustin has been a part of the Westwood team since 2018. He serves as a veterinary technician on our team and truly enjoys giving away extra hugs and cuddles to our patients. In his free time away from work, Dustin enjoys fishing, playing pool and anything outdoors. He shares his home with his dog "Roscoe."
Macey serves as a veterinary technician on the Westwood team. She enjoys working with our great team and is passionate about caring for our patients. In her free time, Macey enjoys outside activities including kayaking and spending time with her daughter.
Ashli has been a receptionist/ veterinary technician on the Westwood team since 2019. She enjoys working with our team because we all love and care about our patients the way that she does. Ashli enjoys art, cooking, and gardening when away from work. She shares her house with her dogs "Remi" and "Archer" and her goldfish the "3 Amigos."
Amanda has been a Westwood team member since 2018. Amanda loves the family atmosphere at Westwood and enjoys interacting with our clients and their pets. When away from work, Amanda stays busy taking care of her 3 sons as well as her mini farm which includes ducks, chickens, and ferrets. Amanda and her family share their home with her dogs "Lacy", "Trixie", and "Yogie."

Meredith was a Westwood team member for several years, spent some time away and thankfully returned to us in 2019. Meredith really enjoys being a part of the Westwood team because of our wonderful clients and our family atmosphere at Westwood. In her free time, Meredith enjoys photography, spending time outside in nature and spending time with her 2 daughters.
